The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, fiends, and malevolent powers growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Key plot points for Episode 3 of the new season follow below.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The third episode ended with a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of heroes who will split off from the primary party to begin their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team includes the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for participants who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear unsuited, but the events of episode 3 demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his own means, entering the hidden lair, striking the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then paid off his debts and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each member has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan knows the region and warns that it is a hostile environment.
  • The strong character and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • However, their status as key figures in the powerful family could help the party enter places they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the authorities that control the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The character are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The cleric defied the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the rest of the cast members to round up the Questers and Strategists parties.

Fans can anticipate discovering which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on the upcoming Thursday.
